The Key Laboratory of Health Technology Assessment of the Ministry of Health is a multidisciplinary collaborative platform encompassing social medicine and health service management, epidemiology and health statistics, and is affiliated with the School of Public Health, Fudan University.

* Evaluation of the effectiveness, safety, and cost-effectiveness of clinical medical technologies

Chronology:
1994: Establishment of the Medical Technology Assessment Research Center of Shanghai Medical University
*2000: Renamed the Medical Technology Assessment Research Center of Fudan University
*2004: Approval from the Ministry of Health to establish the Key Laboratory of Health Technology Assessment of the Ministry of Health (Fudan University)
*2007: Awarded the title of WHO Collaborating Centre for Health Technology Assessment and Management
*2013: Received the China Medical Board (CMB) China Health Technology Assessment Collaboration Project (CP).
