Project Background: Jiangsu Huasheng Lithium Battery Materials Co., Ltd., a leading enterprise in the new energy materials field, has extremely high requirements for the safety and efficiency of its production material storage. To meet high standards of fire safety and intelligent warehousing needs, the company completed a cold storage upgrade project in 2025.

Project Overview: The upgraded cold storage facility covers an area of ​​200 square meters with a net height of 4.5 meters. Constructed with Class A flame-retardant materials, it has passed national fire safety certification, ensuring that the storage environment meets the special safety standards for lithium battery material storage. The cold storage is equipped with a dual-redundant refrigeration system—two scroll intelligent thermo-thermal defrosting units (one in use and one on standby)—achieving 24-hour uninterrupted operation and effectively avoiding storage risks caused by equipment failure.

Technical Highlights:

Intelligent Defrosting System: Utilizing thermo-thermal defrosting technology, it saves more than 30% energy compared to traditional electric heating defrosting. The defrosting process is automatically triggered and does not affect the stability of the storage temperature, ensuring the constant temperature requirements for lithium battery material storage.

Electric Sliding Door System: The warehouse doors feature an electric sliding design, with a width adapted to standard forklift operations. Combined with a geomagnetic induction door opening device, it achieves intelligent operation by automatically opening the doors when a forklift approaches and automatically closing them when it leaves, significantly improving loading and unloading efficiency and personnel safety.

Safety Protection System: The entire warehouse meets Class A flame-retardant standards, with walls and floors covered in fire-resistant materials. It is equipped with multiple safety protection measures, including smoke alarms and abnormal temperature warnings, constructing a comprehensive safety protection network.

This case study, through technological innovation and safety design, achieves a three-dimensional improvement in warehousing efficiency, safety performance, and energy conservation, providing a replicable demonstration solution for the construction of warehousing facilities for new energy materials companies.
